Teilhard's Grave

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin died on Easter Sunday, April 10, 1955.

He is buried in the Jesuit Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY on the grounds of what was the Jesuit Novitiate, St Andrews-on-Hudson from 1905-1969. It is now the Culinary Institute of America (1946 Campus Drive, Hyde Park, NY 12538 1499, Phone: 845-452-9600). One can obtain a key to the cemetery from the Culinary Institute of America Campus Safety office and visit Teilhard’s grave in the back left side of the cemetery.
