On May 20, 2017, John Grim gave the lecture at the American Teilhard Association Annual Meeting at the Union Theological Seminary in New York. This event celebrated 30 years of John’s tenure as President of the American Teilhard Association. We also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the ATA.

“Pursuing the Truth: Teilhard de Chardin and the Benedictine Tradition”
On September 16, 2014, Dr. David Grumett of the University of Edinburgh presented “Pursuing the Truth: Teilhard de Chardin and the Benedictine Tradition” as an early celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Saint Anselm College. Even though some may not have been familiar with the French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955), the audience soon learned that the 20th century scientist and theologian had much in common with the 6th century St. Benedict.
