Teilhard’s Mass On The World 100 Years and Moving Forward
In October 2023, the American Teilhard Association, in collaboration with the Neveux du Pere Teilhard de Chardin (The Nephews of Teilhard de Chardin) and the Amis de Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (The Friends of Teilhard de Chardin), gathered to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s Mass on the World, his prayerful consecration of the cosmos. The weeklong celebration happened at two major venues: Manhattan and Hyde Park, New York.

Emergent Universe Oratorio
On July 18, 2025, Albany Pro Musica’s Concert Chorus performed “Emergent Universe Oratorio,” a dramatic piece for chorus and orchestra by Sam Guarnaccia. This remarkable work tells the story of our universe’s origin, evolution, and emergence of life up to the present environmental and civilizational crises facing our planet. A lush set design by painter Cami Davis further enhanced the orchestral piece.
